I love photographing couples that exude love and happiness…It just makes me realize how a new life can make us realize what is truly meaningful. It also makes me love my work even more when there’s love in the studio…Enjoy your preview Alex & Muwin!
I was so happy to start my week off Monday with a visit from little Miss Nahla, who is turning 1 this weekend! It took her a little time to warm up to the whole portrait idea and staying still wasn’t her idea of fun. She’s just beginning to walk on her own, so that was way more fun than sitting! So, here is a little sneak peak of Nahla’s 1st year portraits!
So, I was fortunate enough to meet baby Zachary a couple of days ago, who came all the way from Calgary! What a trip for a little guy like him, but he was so content most of the time he spent with me, that I’d go anywhere with him! He had a head full of hair and the cutest little baby rolls ever! I kept calling him the little butterball because of his sweet smiles and cuddly little rolls. What a cutie pie he is! So, here is a sneak peek for mommy and for daddy!
Well, after a little wait to blog about this session, meet Baby Sam! Little Sam’s parents gave the gift of portraits this past Christmas, which was why they opted out of the blog sneak peek. So, now that another holiday season has passed us by, here he is in all his cuteness!
I couldn’t wait to blog about this session, mostly because little miss Olivia was not in a modeling mood, and I suspected that her parents were a little disappointed. Well, despite the challenge she threw our way a couple of times, I managed to pull these images without any complications. So, here is a preview for momma & papa…
I had the pleasure this morning of photographing Jen & Shane. I attended their wedding on New Year’s Eve and it was beautiful! What a great way to ring in the New Year…great food, great people, and great drinks 😉 I wasn’t working for this wedding, which made it easy to get my hair done and play dress up (something I haven’t done since my own wedding day!) and hang out with the husband, who asked that I not bring my gear so that I wouldn’t be in “work” mode. So, instead I borrowed my son’s new Christmas gift (which I gave him :)) , a pocket size Canon SD1400…it turned out to be a fun little toy! So, anyway here is a sneak peak for the ever so beautiful couple Jen & Shane! Thanks for giving me the opportunity to take your portraits in a winter wonderland!
