To this family their family portraits is a ritual that we’ve come to love and expect. There’s no doubt next year we’ll be planning the location, the colors the theme and all that fun stuff in order to keep their session different from the previous. Last year, I photographed this family at the carnival. This year we decided on a beach session. I think many of us underestimate the beauty that’s in our backyard. This year I’m hoping to get outside a little more while the weather is nice. The kids love it, and chasing them is what I do best, even if that means jumping in the water with them 🙂
When I edited this session. I seriously was smiling through the whole process. How could you not!? These kids crack me up. We had a blast and I wondered sometimes how well mom and dad were hiding their terror lol… It didn’t go as planned (nice dry outfits), but hey we made memories they’ll love one day.
Here’s to another year of documenting the Vicaire family!
So, this sweet grad happens to be in my large extended family of cousins. It’s always a pleasure to work with an apple off the same apple tree…Without further delay, here are a few images from this pretty ladies’ order 😉
This guy cracks me up. I’ve known him for a few years and I always learn something from him! He sure will be missed at Sugarloaf High School after this year…So, here’s another grad from 2014!
So, this grad was very sophisticated, in fact I felt like it was more a fashion magazine shoot but I had a great time! My hope is that I represented her true personality…enjoy this sneak peek!
So, I’m still getting caught up from a couple of sessions I did over the holidays. This baby came just in time for Christmas, and oh was he ever handsome. He slept through the session and I was able to capture some of his cuteness. So, here is a sneak peek into a brand new baby at a week old 😉 Enjoy!
So, like the title says, it was cold! But we managed as the sun was out and the lighting was magnificent. This couple I’ve gotten to know throughout the year and was so happy to be part of their big day. You could see the love, and the sweetness in their admiration for each other…so, I know I’ve kept them waiting, and they’ve been more then sweet about it, here is your sneak peek Mr. & Mrs. Irvine!
So, it was a treat to do this wedding since I’ve known this family for a long time. The bride was absolutely glowing, and so relaxed it made everyone else at ease and able to totally let loose and enjoy the day. This reception was literally eye candy from every corner. There was nothing forgotten…except the garter :S, but she didn’t care, and improvised in seconds with a strand of pearls. The decor was breathtaking, the flowers smelled wonderful, the lighting was dramatic (if your sound man offers the lighting, it’s a great idea!), and the party was wild!!
So, without further delay…here is a wonderful couple and some of my favorite images. Did I forget to mention this was one of the biggest wedding parties I ever photographed?
